1955 Austin Healey 100-4 BN1

Austin Healey 100-4 BN1 (1955)
for sale

Price: US $12,000.00

Description:

This car was pulled out of a garage where it had been stored away for many years awaiting restoration. Dad and I bought it with the intention of restoring it because it is one of our favorite cars. We love the lines, the big torquey 4 cylinder, the 3 speed transmission with overdrive on 2nd and third, and the fold down windscreen. Such a classic British sports car! Much as we love it, after several years of ownership we have decided there are too many other projects on the go, so we are selling it.
The car runs and drives. Have a look at this video shot a couple of weeks ago: here
The hydraulic brakes don't work but the eBrake does. It is pretty well complete and correct except for the bumpers and top. The mileage is unknown. It comes with a BMIHT Certificate which shows that it is a matching numbers car that was originally red with a black interior. There is in fact red paint under the blue and what is left of the interior is still black. The frame is solid including the outriggers having been reinforced by a previous owner. The door gaps are uniform. It comes with a brand new correct braided cloth wiring harness.
Please contact seller with any questions BEFORE placing bid. Car is sold as is, where is. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Car is located and is titled in Ontario, Canada. Deposit of $2000 via eTransfer or wire transfer due within 48 hours, balance is by wire transfer or cash within 3 days.
