A very rare car containing a lot of history in the automotive world, the 1958 Edsel had features and styling ahead of its time. The Edsel Citation Convertible is the rarest of the 1958's in that there were only 930 built. Who knows how many remain today, let alone in pristine condition such as this. This particular example was a low mileage California car which was purchased by a historian in Maine who then had the car meticulously restored by a shop which specialized in restoring Edsels. Everything on the vehicle is new, rechromed, refurbished or rebuilt to factory specifications. The car is impeccable and an unbelievably beautiful piece of automotive history. This Edsel is a thrill to look at and to drive. The car is stored in a climate controlled facility and forms part of a private car collection. Unfortunately some downsizing is in needed.
