THE 1963 Detroit Autorama Show Car! Frame-off restoration.
Retro-fit R-3 Granatelli engine.
Restored by Classic Auto Restoration and Myers's Studebaker.
White/red Phantom interior. Originally an R-2, R-3 engine installed by Granatelli after the Autorama.
The only car made with a leather drivers seat ONLY.
Build sheet from the Studebaker Historical Museum states “tag Detroit Show” and “Show Finish”.
Perfect in every way. ( My assistant took these photos and she did not realize there were some engine parts removed at the time. Those parts have been put back on since these photos were taken. We just have not been back over to my storage facility to take new photos. )
