I am selling my 1964 Plymouth Valiant Signet. It’s a beautiful, two-door convertible. Great for driving with the top down on a Summer day. Unfortunately, I just don’t get the opportunity to drive it enough to be worth maintaining, so I am passing it on. The car has 147, 254 miles on it, and has only been driven 1, 300 miles since I bought it nine years ago. Its external frame is in flawless condition, and has been
garage kept
since I bought it. All parts of the car’s body are original, other than its paint, which was professionally redone several years ago. Its has no rust, which is a remarkable feat for its age. It also has been retrofitted with seat belts.
Under the hood, the Valiant boasts the legendary Slant-6 engine. While not built for drag racing, the 6-cylinder engine is extremely durable and has reasonable gas mileage. With regards to transmission, 1964 was a particularly historic year for the Valiant, as it was the last year that it was equipped with automatic push button controls. It starts, runs, and drives smoothly on the highway, with no shaking or rattling.
The Car is sold as is. Ideally, I'd like for this to be pickup only. However, I am willing to work with a shipper somewhat, so long as it is fully financially covered by the buyer.
