This is an original paint unrestored ’70 Challenger V code 440/6 Pack 4 speed car. Hemi orange with a black vinyl top and black hi back bucket seat console interior. All numbers matching with the original engine gone through by Chuck Lofgren (Lofgren Auto Specialties) at 38, 000 miles because the owner then thought it used too much oil. Chuck won the Hot Rod Magazine Hemi Challenge in 2005, he knows what he's doing. Original engine freshened up dynoed at 510 HP and 509 ft/lbs at 5400 RPM. It pulls hard. Bolt on performance parts were added at that time with all the original parts (manifolds, distributor, etc.) retained for reinstallation if desired. The engine compartment (except the underside of the hood) was repainted when the engine was pulled as the previous owner planned to paint the vehicle but never got to it. Complete exterior Hemi Orange paint is very presentable factory original (other then the hood vent moldings were painted black) and looks great. Hemi 4 speed and dana rear end with 3.54 ratio including the Scat Pac option all originally installed at the factory. I rebuilt the carbs and installed new rear tires last spring. I removed the broadcast sheet from the back seat 20 years ago for safe keeping.
