Everything has been gone through and repaired over the last decade to create this solid, reliable, and stunning DeLorean that you see right here today. This particular DeLorean is easily one of the best looking cars in LA, and has spent its California life garaged in the Hollywood Hills. I mainly drive it to car shows, special occasions, or high fashion photoshoots. This DeLorean gets rented often for print and video, but only ever driven by me.
You can drive this anywhere. I've put 20k+ miles on it, everywhere between San Diego and Fresno, and anytime those infamous DeLorean problems show up, I've always fixed everything immediately at DeLorean of Huntington Beach. I'm not a wannabe mechanic, so I've always paid top dollar to have it professionally upgraded by DeLorean certified technicians, so you won't find evidence of amateur tinkering anywhere.
Exterior is excellent. Lines are straight; never even been CLOSE to having an accident. Regrained the hood, added authentic DMC sideskirts, stainless steel lettering and other goodies. The wheels are original; spokes painted black but the entire wheel is chrome dipped underneath. Went for that machined lip look, without having to go aftermarket.
Interior is fully reupholstered and completely covered in black leather; high quality custom job that you won't find in other DeLoreans. Sound system is upgraded for usb, bluetooth, aux cable with new speakers and subwoofer. Custom stainless steel components wherever possible: shift knob, gate, backplate.
Engine is the original numbers-matching PRV-6 motor. Literally, anything that could mechanically go wrong already has, and was replaced or upgraded. Head gasket replaced, clutch, fuses, wiring, ball joints, control arms, radiator. This car is now unstoppable. But the brakes are actually good, too.
If you're in the market for a DeLorean, then I'm sure you can clearly tell that this one's meticulously and stylistically taken care of. It's different. It needs nothing. Just a new owner.
This isn't a DeLorean owned by some cranky old purist, so if you want a DMC-12 with a modern visual aesthetic that's relatable for today's scene, but still has the guts of a real authentic DeLorean, you could settle down with this one. Or if you've got crazier ideas, live your dream, brother.
