Up for sale is a 1982 Delorean DMC12. VIN 10903 (Was listed earlier, but buyer did not follow through, so back up for auction) As the pictures show, the car was in a rollover accident back in the 80s. Some repairs to the fiberglass were started, but the car was never fully repaired. It sat in storage since the 80s. The motor has a single turbo kit with intercooler, water mist injection, and turbo oiler. I believe it is a H.L. Ward Turbo Kit. The car is an automatic and has a little over 9k original miles. The motor turns over and has clean oil in it, but has probably not run since the accident. I do not have any keys to the car. A lot of the panels are just placed on the car and not bolted on. The doors are just set on, but have latched and I have not had time to pull them off. The car is pretty much how I bought it. I do have spare parts that will go with the car. I have had it under a covered barn since earlier this year (before that it was kept indoors) and have no room in my garage for it so I would rather someone else take it and either restore it or use it to bring another one back to life. This would be a good car to restore and possibly have painted since all panels need work. The frame has some minor surface rust, but since it has been kept inside for most of it's life, it does not have rust issues. I have a TN title in my name. Buyer is responsible for pickup. The car does not run or drive and has loose parts, so please keep this in mind when picking up car or having a transporter service to pick up the car. Car must be paid for in full and all funds cleared before pickup. This is a project car and is not for the faint of heart, but it is definitely a car that deserves attention. I have additional photos of the car for any interested buyer. Car is located in Sparta TN 38583. Car is listed locally, and I do have the right to cancel auction earlier if sold.
