I have for auction a 1985 GMC S-15. The truck runs great, stops great and is just a fun truck to drive. Yes, its quick, it has a 4bbl Holly carb so she goes. Its has 4 wheel disc brakes, dual exhaust with headers.(looks like mini Flow Masters) sounds mean! It has a nitrous bottle attached, i haven't personally tried it, but the guy I bought it from says it works fine, but who knows. I was told it has 4.11's in the rear, 350 engine with the 350 trans. The truck was a daily driver, and was the guys wife's truck, nothing wrong with it, they just got bored and wanted something else.
What I think about it
Runs great, but has hesitation in the carburetor when you nail it. I think it needs to be re jetted. (Not a big deal just need to tinker with different jet sizes)I am throwing in an aluminum radiator and the trans cooler attached.I noticed the water temp gauge under the dash isn't working (Not sure I would just change it out, Easy fix)
It has body work in it but there is very minimal rust I personally give the paint job a C+ or B-I think it has a stall converter in it. (Not sure the size)Rear fender wells have been flared out for the bigger rear tires.
Other then that I find it to be a fun little truck. Its a great first hot rod truck, or small project. It doesn't need much in my opinion, just get in it and RIP! I am auctioning this truck off
