Description:

1986 Suzuki Samurai. Clear title in my name. I have owned Sammy for 15 years and always maintained it with an open checkbook. I picked this year because of no electronics to deal with. I even had the parts manual copied so I could work on it, that and the original owners manual are included. Sammy is a great around town or sand or woods, not at highway speeds. When I do drive it the attention it draws is amazing. Sammy is a blast to drive because you can have it many ways: top on or off, full doors, half doors or no doors, windshield up or down. Whatever situation you're in, Sammy is ready to go.
The seats have been recovered, all bar pads/covers are in place, top roll-bar and targa original and all others new. Window original drip rails in place, under dash tray in place, aftermarket radio/CD, custom rear speakers in same shape as the factory optioned ones, front speakers in place. All tires are newer with maybe a couple thousand miles. Sammy has never been wrecked and is mostly unmolested except the fold down windshield, removable doors, 15 tires and the end of the front bumpers cut one inch to accommodate the tires. I'm sure I missed something so checkout the videos.
Almost every mechanical unit has been rebuilt or replaced over the years, not always because they needed to be but, because I wanted it to be dependable and like new. Although I have owned Sammy this long I haven't put that many miles on it, odometer read 53, 000 when I got it and now just a over 64, 000. The 1.3 was replaced with a 1.6 just after I bought it. Just recently I had the 1.6 completely rebuilt with new parts and machined from bottom to top by a professional machine/engine shop at a cost close to $4000 to include new motor mounts and a new Weber carb. The only thing not mounted is the choke cable because they didn't know where I wanted it to go, it will be included and you can decide where you want it through or under the dash. After all this I thought it would give more interest in driving it, it didn't. So rather than just having it sit and drive maybe once a month, I am selling it. These are the videos, if you have a problem you can also go to YOUTUBE and type in 1986 Suzuki Samurai for sale on EBAY pt 1 and 11 and 111. After the video I installed a new electric fuel pump, tied down the hood rod and increased the idle to 1100 as recommended by the engine builder and the the fog lights.

I know you never get back all that you put into them but, I had a lot of fun with Sammy over the years so that covers my cost. The next owner is going to get a great truck at a reasonable price.
