Very rare Jaguar XJS Rouge Edition coupe . Supposedly less than 100 were produced in 1989 . It is Signal Red as they all were with the Rouge package . It is powered by the original 5.3 liter V-12 with 263 horsepower , fuel injected , it does have the factory Magneti-Marelli ignition system and actually runs very smooth . The miles are just over 50, 000 , the original interior with the cashmere colored Magnolia leather seats are in good condition with minor wear on the driver's seat piping . The center console has the typical cracks in the varnish finish but replacement inserts are readily available on the internet . There has been some paint work done over the years but the Jag shows no signs of any serious collision repair , looks like the hood has been repainted as well as some of the driver's side . This is a really nice car to drive , seems that it has plenty of power , the 4 speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly along all gears . It does have the 5 original red inserted honeycomb wheels , the original owner's manual and introduction cassette with case .
The car is currently in Mesa Arizona where it does not snow quite as often as here in Montana this time of year , and a little easier for pickup or shipping purposes .
