Here you found our 1997 Mercedes E300 Diesel. With the 6-cylinder diesel engine this is a very rare car in the US. It will be very hard to find another one with only 160k miles , this clean and so very well maintained. This car was factory finished in Smoke Silver MB-color code 702 with black interior. There is no rust at all and it was never in any kind of accident. This 300D was always pampered and garaged and the original paint is in excellent condition. It still shines like on a much newer car and people do not want believe that is is almost 25 years old. The interior is super clean as well, as the many pictures will show. There are no rips or tears in the seats or door panels. The carpets are clean and there is no fading. The dashboard is perfect and even the wood accents are in excellent condition. There is hardly any wear. This car really stands out. But the best thing about this Mercedes is the way it drives. It has always been maintained to the highest standards, mostly at the Mercedes dealership. We do have the stamped service book from Mercedes, countless service receipts and even the Carfax shows 60 maintenance and service records since new. Everything on this car works, including all the gauges, power door locks, windows, sunroof, power antenna, ice cold air-conditioning and the cruise control. I can not think of anything it needs. It did get new tires 2 years ago and a new AC-compressor as well. Just last month i took it on a 1200 miles long distance trip without any problems. While cruising between 85-90 miles and hour i still got 34 miles per gallon of diesel. This car is ideal for long distance cruising. I would not hesitate driving it to the east coast tomorrow. I would prefer to sell this car locally to somebody who can come out and see it/test drive it. You will NOT be disappointed. But i would also be willing to help with shipping arrangements for any out of town winning bidder.Please do all your due diligence BEFORE placing a bid. This is a wonderful 24 year old classic Mercedes and it will be sold WITHOUT a warranty.
