We just performed a Level II Inspection and serviced the following items to ensure this M3 is ready for its new owner:
changed engine oil and filter, differential oil, transmission oil, replaced air filter, cabin air filter, spark plugs, wiper blades, and flushed the brake system. ​
An Arizona time capsule, this M3 has the original set of
M-branded floor mats, tool kit, and mobility kit
. It is obvious that this one has been owned by BMW enthusiasts, remaining as stock as the day it shipped over from Germany. The SMG-II transmission shifts perfectly and will impress you with its balance between smooth shifting and raw performance, depending on your chosen setting.
As part of our servicing and reconditioning we also performed the following:
replaced both fog lights and fog light bezels, repaired and reconditioned front left wheel, replaced steering shaft flex coupler, replaced left kidney grille and insert, all new tint professionally installed all around (pictures show before new tint)
Flaws are as follows:
Left and right A pillar trim fabric has begun coming off the trim pieces, as is very common on E46s
Small paint chipping on left side of rear bumper by wheel arch
Missing lug wrench from tool kit
Normal chips, dings, and interior wear as to be expected for a vehicle beyond 100, 000 miles and 14 years old
