This little Neon was my very first car - purchased myself at the baby age of 19. I couldn't even drive the car myself when we test drove it, but I couldn't stop smiling as I was riding in it so I knew I needed to buy it. I learned how to drive stick shift with this car and even taught a friend and my brother to drive stick! I was hoping the car would last me throughout my entire college career, so I took good care of it but the engine decided to wreck those plans. Highly considered replacing the engine but it was just too expensive for me at this time. I wasn't a huge fan of Dodges prior to this car but I really enjoyed this little sporty Neon.
Here's the details:
Engine does not run - body is in great condition. Recently purchased new tires (all - $400+), new struts (all - $400+), new clutch ($1500), new parking brake, new front brakes, and used front bumper (primed not painted, not attached) to replace current damaged bumper (see photo) included. Car was well maintained but timing belt broke and damaged the valves on the upper block. Lower half of engine is fine (rods, etc.) - has cold air intake. Minimal rust on wheel wells and runners. Transmission is in good shape. A/C and heating work good. Has a sick 6 CD player. No cracks in windshield. All interior gauges working.
