Description:
This Maserati Cambiocorsa
is in wonderful condition with very few blemishes. It is an amazing driving machine
with the F136 R V8 engine belonging to the Ferrari F136
engine family; it displaces 4244 cc and develops 385 hp at
7000 rpm with a peak torque of 332 lb·ft at 4500 rpm. The Spyder's has a 96.1-inch wheelbase
and overall length of 169.4 inches, width 71.7 inches, and height 51.4 inches.
Curb weight is 3, 600 pounds. It is equipped
with 18 inch alloy wheels and front and side driver and passenger airbags as well as seat belt pre-tensioners.
The
Soft-top convertible is electronically operated by a pushbutton.
The top automatically stows beneath a hard cover that sits flush with the body
in front of the trunk. Arch-type roll
bars are behind each seat. There is a
small blemish on the soft top - this is cosmetic and the top does NOT
leak. The top has new elastics and operates smoothly and properly.
The manual
transmission is a six-speed CC (Cambiocorsa) using paddle shifters. Formula One-type gearbox using a electrohydraulic manual transmission that uses a with
hydraulic operation and electronic management operated by F1-style paddles
behind the steering wheel, similar to the system used in Ferrari vehicles. The
system has four different operating modes: Normal, Sport, Auto and Low Grip.
The Spyder has
a light alloy double
wishbone suspension. The rear suspension is fitted with a toe-in
regulator bar which enhances the precision of the drive train and provides
balanced cornering. The front suspension layout incorporates “anti-dive”
features to prevent nose-diving when braking. An exceptional ride is provided
by The Skyhook system - an adaptive damping system using coil-over shock
absorbers and a set of six accelerometers
that continually monitor the movement of the wheels and car body and transmits
this information to a control unit.
The information
center combines audio and climate controls. GPS
navigation system and hands-free GSM phone, CD changer, electrochromic rear view mirror, rear parking sensors, seat heaters, and cruise control.

| “Overall in great condition for normal driving. I purchased the vehicle in 2010 and over the years have only driven about 4,000 miles on the vehicle. On last inspection the clutch was rated above 50%. I would love to keep my Spyder but a move forces me to sell. My loss your gain!- Passes all Vehicle inspections and ready to drive- Tires, Wipers, Breaks, Radiator, Hoses all in very good condition- AC compressor has small leak and needs to be replaced. Approximate $1900 but please check. - New Washer cover supplied for right side. Needs install and paint. $300 but please check. - Clutch at 50% or better. Please review clutch on Maserati Forums. If you drive HARD you will be replacing this every 5,000 miles and it is a costly upkeep. - Exterior Temp Sensor malfunctions and reads incorrect temp. outside. I didn't feel it necessary to fix. - Fast? Very!” |
