This Austin runs and drives back and forth in my driveway but has not gone any further while I've owned it. Carburetor leaks and I have the generator but I'm not sure if it's the proper one. I have a new/old stock fan belt but it seems to be too short. Underside of car is very clean. Tires are old and cracked. Windshield is flat glass and cracked (I had an estimate of $100 to replace glass). It is ready for a local parade with minimal work but needs a total restoration to be a show car. Speedometer cable is missing. I bought this from a man who had it sitting in his barn for the last six years and had bought it from his neighbor who had it in his barn for twelve years prior to that.
Sold with a bill of sale from myself and previous owner.
This is the last production year of the American Austin before they went bankrupt and the following year it was produced Austin Bantam.
