Nash Ajax (1926)

Description:

Well I cant keep them all. Up for sale is one of my favorite vehicles. This super rare 1926 Nash Ajax was an incredible barn find about 5 years ago. Not sure how many are left in this condition but it cant be too many. Car is mostly original but you can tell the former owner repainted the fenders and hood at some point in the last 30 years. It shows its wear and tear for a mostly original 90 year old car. The Nash runs incredibly well and I have never had a problem starting it. Runs every time. The only issue in drivability is the pressure plate/clutch. The car shifts in and out of gears well but when engaged and rolling it has a hard time going up hills. It never pops out of gear but its like the plate/clutch starts to slow and get weak. Prob an easy fix for someone who knows what they are looking at. I just don't have the time to mess with it at this point. Unsure of what the actual mileage is but the it comes with the original tool kit and title. I also have it titled in a clear Indiana title in my name. Oh one more thing. The rear Drivers window is cracked. I have not messed with it. Wanted to keep it original. So bid away its time for it to go to a new home. Willing to ship worldwide. Happy Bidding.

“Car has mostly original paint. Fenders and hood have been repainted at some point. Original mohair interior that shows its original condition. Has a few worn thru holes but for the most part is in great shape. Car runs amazingly well but the clutch/pressure plate is getting weak. Clutch works and shifts easily but once in gear the car begins to struggle when going up hills. As if the pressure plate is not staying engaged???”
