Very original 1954 Nash Metropolitan convertible. Solid project. This was the first year for the Metropolitan. The body color was originally Turquoise but was repainted (with a brush) some time later and the faux Z moulding tape was added. It has the original 1200cc Austin A40 engine that does run. running gear appears to be untouched from original other than normal maintenance. Hood still has body number scrawled on the underside by the assembler. Body and hood were normally painted separately in the factory so they were numbered to keep the parts together.
Car comes with replacement floor pans, serviceable hub caps, air cleaner, jack and lug wrench.
Rust is at the driver's lower door jamb but the door does open and close without binding. Runs but will need to be trailered to final destination.
