Made in Yugoslavia, restored in same city as manufactured by a meticulous craftsman and 750 (Fića) fanatic. Body and interior have been redone to better than new quality. Engine and transmission have less than 350 miles since total rebuild. Based on the Fiat 600, this model was made under license by Zastava from1961-1985, though it differs slightly in terms of appearance by 1983, it has always had the larger engine than the original 600, as it is 750cc. So, better than the original Italian made Fiat it was based on. Plus, the added benefit of being able to say you have a truly unique piece of automobile history owning one that was made behind the Iron Curtain. Recently imported to the US, it is among 3 Zastavas that were in that shipment, making it the 2nd ever Zastava to be registered in WI. The car can fit 4 adults and the ride quality is surprisingly smooth with exceptionally comfortable seats. Also, since there were Abarth versions of these meant for track use, this car is very easily modifiable into something a bit more or a lotta bit more powerful. It is not top heavy, so it handles extremely well with few mods. And, BELIEVE ME, girls love it. I have been smiled at, photographed, and approached by many proclaiming its cuteness and appeal. Recently, at dinner in Bay View area of Milwaukee, I had a window seat and could see the car and all through dinner tons of people stopped to look at it, comment on it, and many took several photographs from all kinds of angles. It’ll cure loneliness and shyness. For me, it has been a vehicular anti-depressant. You cannot help enjoy yourself and smile as you cruise around for no reason at all. And, if you are into micro-cars, this specimen will be the envy of your peers, for sure!
