I LOVE this car. Love it. Adore it. However, I am moving to the west side of Chicago to an apartment with no garage. If I park this thing on the street I will have to watch it slowly fall apart from winter weather, vandalism, and bad drivers. Furthermore I will have to commute 150 miles each way to/from work regularly, so regretfully I have to get something with better highway gas mileage (If that's important to you, this might not be the car for you). It kills me to sell it but I have to do it. My loss, your gain.
I have babied this car and all service - the 50, 000 mile Porsche service schedule, installing the iPod/AUX adapter, and replacing the passenger window when a (Chicago!) vandal punched it through for no reason at all - were done with Porsche parts at Porsche dealerships. No aftermarket BS, no cheap knock-off parts, no amateur mechanics taking a whack at it. Beyond that, I give this car the clay bar twice per year, a complete polish with an orbital buffer every spring, and monthly paste waxes. The 3M clearguard has also protected the hood, front fender, and front bumper from stone chips.
Everybody says this but it's true for this car: You would never know it's 8 years old sitting inside it or driving it. It looks about as good as a car of its age could look, and it has ZERO mechanical issues. Drives like a dream. Transmission and fuel system were inspected at 50, 000 miles and are in mint condition. Interior is ultra clean. The photos tell the story here.
On some background checks a minor damage incident is listed. The car was NEVER in an accident. The previous owner was a Real Housewives type, and when someone bumped her in a grocery store parking space she freaked out, called the police, and insisted on getting a police report. Because there was a police report, some checks list it as an accident. NO bodywork, NO paintwork, and NO replacement parts were required. There was literally no damage. It didn't even leave a mark on the bumper.
Payment is required within 48 hours from winning bidder. Buyer will pay all fees (title transfer, etc) associated with the sale. If shipping is desired, I will be happy to accommodate you but all shipping costs must be paid by the buyer. Currently titled in Illinois. Check your state and local laws regarding sales taxes - buyer will be responsible for all taxes associated with this sale and shipping.
