Great winter vehicle! It was appraised in November 2015 by Auto Appraisal Group, Inc., which rated the vehicle as Sound. The vehicle has been driven just one mile since then. Specific condition ratings were Excellent for tires, upholstery, and panels/liner; Good for body, lights, instruments/dash, engine, options, paint, trunk/cargo area, equipment, glass, trim/chrome, top, carpet, spare/jack; and fair for wheels, originality, and test ride. Undercarriage was also rated 'fair' at the time due to a problem with the catalytic converter - but I spent $2, 000 to fully replace that unit. General comments were Appears to be mechanically sound. Exterior displays 2013 repaint and a trailer hitch. The interior was restored in 2014 and shows little wear.
My husband purchased the Land Cruiser in January 2014 as a winter vehicle for our farm; I am selling the vehicle as executor of his estate. It has been driven on a limited basis, and has been parked in a covered lean-to behind our horse stable. Replacements since purchase include the above-mentioned catalytic converter, battery and alternator, horn assembly, interior carpet, seat assembly, trailer hitch and wiring assembly - mostly done by a trusted mechanic one mile from our house.
