1984 Vanagon. Brand new 2 liter Tiico motor and rebuilt transmission with proper gear ratio change. 15k miles on the motor and transmission. The motor and transmission was professionally installed by German Engine Service. The transmission was rebuilt using a taller gear ratio ideal for the Tiico motor. The motor was purchased directly from VW (new not rebuilt). Go Westy steel rear bumper with 2 inch receiver, H-4 headlight upgrade. Dual battery system, Z bed (the rear seat folds down into a bed), Toyo tires. Interior is in good condition, the seats have no rips or stains. The body is strait, however the paint is original and has scratches. Solid dry van. The van runs and drives perfect. I have all paper work on new Tiico motor. The van has been meticulously maintained over the years.
Motor/Transmission- Only 15, 000 miles on new motor and rebuilt transmission. I have paper work for the motor. The motor is a brand new Tiico 2 liter approx. 130 horse power. Transmission was completely rebuilt with taller gears ideal with the Tiico motor. (The motor turns at lower rpm's as its geared higher increasing efficiency and mileage. Fuel and vacuum lines were replaced as well as clutch, pressure plate and through out bearing. The cost of the motor and transmission was well over $10, 000.00. All work was performed by a professional VW shop in Olympia WA (German Engine Service). The van runs and drives perfect and has plenty of power and will tow a small trailer. The van has been meticulously maintained by both the original owner and the previous owner.
Paint/Body- Paint has scratches and dings. Paint looks to be original. Very dry ban. West Coast bus since new.
Interior - Full Z bed. This bed is a split bed so one side can fold down or both. Custom made storage bins under rear seat. The seats have no rips or damage. Headliner is in good condition. Dash has no cracks.
Other- Go Westy steel rear bumper with 2 inch receiver for towing. Toyo tires in good condition, Dual battery system, H-4 headlight upgrade.
