1923-26? Renault Type NN2 Town car. Condition is Used. The title of this car says it is 1923, But after doing a some research I am not really sure. The vin tag says it is type NN2 and from what I have found the NN2 was manufactured in 1926. The diamond shaped hood ornament also matches the 1926 model. Maybe someone has more info. This car belonged to my father and my uncle before that. My uncle owned the first Renault dealership in the Kansas City, Missouri. He purchased the car from a man in Pasadena Ca. From letters I have read, my aunt said it was one of 10 ever imported to the states. Not sure if that is true. But I have searched for several yrs and have not found one or much info. My father had it stored in a barn in Southern Mo. for 30yrs or so. When I removed the car from the barn it was covered and very dirty. We put gas, a battery and filed the points and it started up. The clutch was slipping so we were unable to drive the car. That was 2008 and it has been in storage ever since. Someone has tried to reupholster the interior and did not finish but everything is there. There are cigar boxes with screws, door and window handles, lots of wood trim from interior, Hub caps inside of car. All gauges are there it even has keys in the ignition. All the tires are holding air including spare. If you have any other questions or need other pics please let me know.
