Up for auction is this ultra-rare 1923 Reo 4 door sedan. There were only 22, 000 built in 1923. This car is in unbelievable overall shape. Judging by the overall shape, no rust anywhere, no bondo or patch panels, the way the doors & windows open and close and how nice & tight it is going down the road, I believe it could possibly be that the 8967 miles are original. The body of the car is in excellent shape and had a repaint years ago and still looks great. It has a new vinyl top also in excellent shape. The glass is all good with no separation or cracks along with they all roll up and down nicely. The back glass has 1 small knick. The car has its original six cylinder engine that runs smooth and quiet, however, will need the carb adjusted as the float seems to be sticking. I cleaned it, however, can't seem to get it adjusted properly. The needle and seat seem to stick & wants to flood out. I have driven it and it drives great. It is nice and tight with no rattles or shimmies. The brakes work very well. It has new tires and beautiful original wood spoke rims.(see pics) The car has the original interior and is in very nice shape. It has a beautiful wood dash and nice gauges that all work. The horn blows loudly, lights all work as well. This car is museum quality so please tell your collector friends, (Reo Clubs) about this listing as they would definitely want to consider this car. I cannot say enough about the good overall condition of this car as it is in awesome shape throughout. The car is sold as is where is with no warranty implied or expressed.
