Seller’s Description: This car was fully restored in the early 1980's by my father. It won many trophies in its day! A few years after completing it he parked it on some jack stands and it has et under a carport on concrete since. It has been sitting since so the sheet metal has a little rust but overall it is in great shape for being nearly a century old. It has not been started in a while but was running and ran well when parked. I tried to get pictures as best I could for the lighting conditions but obviously pulling it out into the sun was not possible. The top is in great shape and all the parts and pieces are fully in tact. All windows work, the doors open and close correctly and the wood on the interior looks amazing. The roof itself was fully rebuilt and patterned off the original parts. Work was performed at a local wood shop to insure all correct wood and joints were made exactly as REO factory built.He installed a simple stop or brake lamp on the rear to make it drivable on todays roads. EVERY Single piece of this car is here. there are no surprises to be found. Needs cleaned and painted of course as it was restored 35 years ago. Included is the Radiator Cap Cover with the Polished wings it is a Moto-Meter and is Original Issue REO Cap. Obviously this is a very rare car and older REO's are increasingly hard to come by. The story of R.E. Olds is pretty interesting and they later turned to trucks after the great depression. I was there as the car was being restored and will have about any general information you may need concerning its condition.
