Very rare...1928 Elcar SedanThese were made in Elkhart, Indiana for a short period of time. I am listing this for my father. He has one of the few remaining Elcars living in his barn. He bought this car before I was even born, and he had planned on restoring it (it had originally belonged to a minister in a neighboring town). Dad had too many cars and trucks, and too many other projects...and he just never got to this Elcar. It has been stored in his barn for more than 45 years. He just couldn't give up on wanting to see it restored. He said he just wanted to ride in it once. :)
The car needs restoration, but it is pretty complete as far as having its original parts (right down to the oil can that fits under the hood). It obviously needs a new leather/cloth top and some light body work--paint.
If interested in the car, contact me via ebay. My father is located an hour south of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and a buyer would have to pick up/haul the vehicle from his location as he is unable to transport the Elcar himself. I can put interested buyers in touch with him.
