Description:

this is a 1933 STEEL body Willys sedan, fiberglass front fenders/hood/grill. it is titled with a 1939 willys title. sold to me as street legal/prostreet, but in reality a drag race car with prostreet/race potential. the interior is unfinished with hiback race seats. it has sidebars alongside the seats but at my age and height- to cumbersome for me to get in/out, I removed the driver side -side bar.it has a potent fresh 357 cid SBC with scat rods and crank forged pistons , comp hyd cam. alum 1.5 rockers. it has the Chevrolet double hump heads.. it came with an old tunnel ram with small holleys that didn't run well, I replaced with a new airgap intake and an excellent running 750 CFM holley.( with tunnel ram replaced it no longer has the scoop through the fiberglass hood which has been filled ) it starts EZ and runs well.it has under chassis headers and new 2-1/2 exhaust. it has an overhead switch panel which operates fuel pump, starter, lights and radiator fan. it has an alum radiator with electric fan.what I know about the SBC engines is all I've stated here-
(no history with the SBC engines)I do have the build sheet for the engine. it has a narrowed Mopar 8-3/4 rear end, with Olds ends. it has 4 corner coil over suspension and disc brakes, front disc are Airheart -rear are NEW Wilwood** (silicone brake fluid) it has weld wheels on front and rear with 20 NEW wheel studs . the ones that were on it were waaay to short for the wheels. front spindles are alum. it has solid front axle, 4 bar radius rods with new coil springs on the coil overs.the chassis is an awesome professional built 2 x 3 race style chassis with 12 point roll cage, rear suspension is coil over with 3 link system. top is A arm locator . I bought this as a street ready car but it had no working headlights- and the front clip was held in place with 6 dzus fasteners at the firewall only?? it has a professional Naugahyde filled top insert, really nice. I added some street rod type headlights behind the Willy's lens but they would be better with 6 headlights-(which I just bought) the 7 have a little tight fit in front of tires. front tires are near new- rear tires are 31.0 x13 x 15 McCreary treaded race tires. it has a large gas tank mounted in the chassis at the rear- battery alongside in the rear- electric fuel pump etc. I paid a lot for it, I put a lot more in it, but- I am 76 and I wanted a docile but cool street ride- this is WAY to violent for me. drivable as is- but you can finish this to one of the coolest, nastiest street rides or? as stated- work to do but driveable as is- your choice street or? thanks for looking. bid to own her- buy it now is over 2 thousand less than I paid for it- not counting the $$ I put in it. you can do a lot of driving this fall, 5 day auction. call if questions I will answer as best I can. 417 733 0322
