1937 Studebaker Dictator Coupe with Factory Overdrive. Completely stock from the factory. Starts on a dime the first time, every time. Needs nothing. Overdrive unit allows the car to travel highway speeds. This is a wonderful car, and quite rare. Very quick original straight six engine. Still has it's factory heater under the dash, restored. Most of these Dictator Coupes were turned into hot rods due the the fact that the rear window, known as the '
batwing
' just screams Art Deco and just adds to the awesome lines of this car. No rust anywhere. The undercarriage and trunk are just as detailed as the outside. California car. I just installed all new very high end upholstery. Running board covers are also new. This whole car is show quality. This is a true business man's coupe. You'll notice the shelving units and vertical spare tire behind the seat in the last photo. Enormous trunk. Body panels are laser straight and door, hood and trunk gaps are excellent. An NOS set of the 'correct' headlight lens accompanies purchase. No disappointments. I only own the world's finest examples of pre-war cars; and this is certainly one of them.
