1939 Plymouth.
This car is complete with mostly original parts ...except the engine. The Engine is Straight-6 from a Plymouth Truck of the same year. I purchased the car with the Truck engine...so I cannot provide an explanation. The car is complete.
I have done the following work.Drained Coolant to replace freeze plugsDrained OilReplace Water Pump Replaced Fan beltCleaned Engine and paintedReplaced Spark PlugsReplaced entire wiring harness with reproduction harnessReplaced Exhaust ManifoldReplaced Exhaust pipe from ex manifold to tailpipe.Replaced Running Board with reproductionsReplaced all break cylinders (break lines still need to be bledThe cab floor boards were replaced by the previous owner.The Gas tank is original and is bone dry without any rust.The drive windshield is cracked. .I have the replacement glassThe Passenger side window is cracked. .I have the replacement glassI have hubcaps
The electrical system is 6 volt. I have not purchased a replacement battery. .so I have not started the car since I purchased it.
The car has a South Carolina Tile.
I cannot complete the restoration. ...would be a great project for someone who has time.
This car would be a great daily driver.
