Vehicle Description: The Chrysler Windsor was a step up from the Chrysler Royal with Windsor later being replaced with just Chrysler 300. Originally coming out in 1939 as the junior model to its big brother the Chrysler New Yorker it offered sealed beam headlights, independent front suspension big 11” brake drums and X girder like framing. This 1940 Chrysler Windsor Business Man’s Coupe is a very nice original example of a very cool unique looking vehicle. Only 69, 729 original miles on this unmolested beauty shows it’s been very well cared for and maintained over the past 76 years. The 241 cubic inch inline flat head 6 cylinder purrs only the way a flat head can with torque and reliability to match. The fluid drive transmission shifts the way it should and handles the flat head with ease. The trunk is accessible from behind the front seat via a hidden door. The trunk itself is gigantic as clearly defined by the size of the trunk lid. The blue exterior shines nicely and compliments the 2-tone blue and ivory interior. It’s not often you find a business coupe in good original condition, it’s less often you find a Chrysler business coupe and even rarer to find a 3 window version! And isn’t that part of what we find so intriguing about our car desires? The unique conversation starting and styling that catches our eye and attention. - $1000 deposit needed within 24 hours of offer being accepted. - A deposit is a commitment to purchase and is non-refundable which is applied to the purchase amount.
- Payment methods: ACH, wire transfer, cashier's check, credit card(3% fee), personal check(10 business days to clear), and of course- cash. PayPal not accepted.
- Signed purchase contracts, cleared payment in full, and a copy of your driver's license will be needed before the vehicle is released.
- Our hours are 9-5pm EST Monday through Saturday.
