1940 Simca 5

Simca 5 (1940)
for sale

Price: US $9,999.00

Description:

Exceptionally beautiful, very good and historical car.
SIMCA 5 the FIAT Topolino “made in France” during war time (due to import taxes between Italy and France, Fiat was producing the Topolino under licence in France, under the name Simca).
In addition this specific SIMCA 5 was part of the “Patrimoine Français”, belonging to the FFI (Force Française de l’Intérieur, the French resistance) during the 1940’s. See attached copy of the ID of the first owner.
First owner was an officer in the FFI and the car has probably been restored and repainted since then. The outside is in a good condition (not perfect, but very good for an 80 years old lady), no rust.
The under part of the vehicle has been controlled and is also free of rust.
Seat and door upholstery are in a good condition. The car drives, steers and brakes well. Can keep up with modern traffic for short distances due to the size of the engine (about 570 cubic centimeters).
Hopefully this vehicle that is in good general condition with an incredible history, can join your collection instead of taking dust in my garage. Sold with French canceled documents and Swiss import duties paid. User manuals and different Simca 5 magazines provided.
The car can be viewed and picked up in Geneva, Switzerland. (ZIP code 1208)
Please ask your favorite shipping company for transportation costs to your destination, we prepare the vehicle for transportation to make sure it is arriving in good condition.
A great addition to any collection !
