Description:
Vehicle is a project and not in running or driving condition. There is no interior or functional anything. Needs extensive restoration.Has dents , scratches and rust . You get : the basic Coupe shell with bare but hinged doors , 2 front fenders , 2 rear fenders , 1 deck lid , 1 hood , 1 centre section 2 rockers , 2 trunk lid hinges , 1 dash , 1 original 1940 440 vin tag , 1 chassis frame with all four springs and front and rear end rolling , 2 15x10 one piece Magnesium Torque Thrust rear wheels and 2 14x7 two piece Magnesium Torque Thrust front wheels , not the wheels / tires on the car in the pictures sorry . There are no pieces of trim or and trinkets with this auction just the body on the rolling chassis . The trunk lid is correct for 40 not the 37-39 style . There are no bumpers or bumper brackets .I can arrange to get this over the border into Blaine WA and you can take it from there or last guy did , he had it picked up from my house . I can help load , I can help with broker / brokerage documents as well . Easy to deal with and I'm sure most of you Willysguys know me anyway . The car is buried at the new house at the moment and I can't get to it yet but it is what it is and hasn't changed much in about 3 yrs .

| “As per usual , a rough but solid start to your dream car or bucket list car . The bottom of this car was extremely weak so I found another floor that seems to be the solution to most of the problems . Front dog legs are still rough though and the entire car will require extensive restoration unless you're building a Rat and don't care too much . The 40 steel deck lid is very solid and those 40 steel doors are the nicest I've seen so far .All four fenders are decent and so is the centre section . All very workable . The hood is actually a 1941 hood and has extra holes for the 40 Deluxe trim . Both the hood and deck lid have been blasted and epoxied. The body is sitting on an original 1940 Willys chassis and it's a fairly clean one I fully intended to leave under it . 9" rear end , straight axle front end . I will put a set of magnesium rollers on it that I have but need to go get some tires that'll hold air . Bare body rolling . No trinkets or trim etc . No warranty or guarantee” |
