The frame, suspension, and body were all custom built by Piper race cars in 2009. This car is one of only 3 built by Piper Race Cars. This car is currently tagged, insured, and has a valid VIN (although does not work on Ebay due to this being a custom built car (NOTE it is NOT a 1973). This 7 is powered by a new Ford ZTECH 2.0 (2002-06) crate engine with just under 2600 miles. Transmission is a manual Borg Warner close ratio T-9. The car has a MegaSquirt 3.0 fuel management system programmed by DIY Autotune in Atlanta GA. This 7 has a complete IRS with Ford 8.8 center section and Koni shocks and springs, The front is also Koni equipped with front shocks/springs mounted in-board horizontally. It is a really unique and one of a kind setup. All four corners are also equipped with Brembo brakes. The car also comes with another complete set of BBS wheels with street legal racing slicks (pictured in orange car). Other features included : fuel cell, MSD fuel pump, 4 point harnesses, quick disconnect steering wheel, custom ground race cam (not installed), and a laptop with all tuning programs installed.
