About this vehicle This 1948 Willys CJ-2A is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle needs work. Seller's Notes sold with bill of sale Exterior nice old Cj2a, was yellow originally, then red, white and black. overall a nice project. does not run and I haven’t tried to start it. looks to have been converted to 12 volts. maybe missing air cleaner. oil is clean. front fenders, grill, hood are in excellent shape as is the frame. not beat up. fender support braces great shape not all rusted out. tailgate is a bit beat up, rust along lower edge. rear body in excellent shape too. wheel wells solid no rust. the bad area is the front floor, been patched needs to be replaced. the tool box area under the passenger seat has bee removed. I’ve included another cut from a m38. not perfect but good. other than the front floors the only other area than needs attention is the sides where the body meets the A pillar. small patch needed and fender foot rest need to be replaced. rest of body is good. gauges are good. windshield frame good missing the inner frame. I’ve added seats, skid plate and a gas tank. the tank has a quarter size hole in it. fixable. comes with a NOS steering column shaft to replace the one as someone add a stupid steering wheel. sold with a bill of sale I don’t know what year it is 46-49 no ID plates. nice new tow bar included. I will continue to add things I see missing I notice the tie rod arm is bent I will add another. shifts in and out of gear, rolls and steers great. Interior Engine Deposits are nonrefundable.
