1950 Desoto Suburban- was parked in a barn from 1961 until earlier this year(2021) I bought it with no plan on ever selling it….but unfortunately unforeseen circumstances forcing sale…. It belonged to a Lima bean farmer in Orange County, CA and was parked in 1961 due to unknown reasons. Car is incredibly solid and has only minor cosmetic rust in a couple places, no rot and floors/ frame is all super solid. Car is still very much dirty from its unknown past in a barn. Although I have vacuumed it out, clean the windows, and pulled the spark plugs, nothing more has been done.There has been no attempt to turn the engine over. Car has many factory options such and two tone paint (in 1950 Desoto began outsourcing two tone paint jobs) lighted hood ornament, fluidDrive transmission, all chrome hub caps and trim rings. It has current CA registration with pink in my name. Yellow and black plates are not assigned to the car yet, although paperwork has been submitted to do so.
