REDUCED TO SELL. LAST TIME TO BE LISTED. This real 51 Ford business coupe has a 302 (5.0L) mustang engine, with dual exhaust, with a C-4 auto Transmission. The more modern engine has a lot more Horsepower than the old flat head. I don't have a need for speed, any more but I want to get out of the way when I pull out on a busy highway & I like to cruise at 70(+) on the interstates. It is a Business Coupe with originality written all over it (otherwise) . I have an original hood ornament. I wanted to put a red LED light under the plastic half moon ornament.. It has a custom wedding lace paint, on top, like in the old days. It is fun to drive. This is a daily driver & is very dependable. No rust. A few scratches in the paint. Was going to get body shop to touch them all up, relatively quick (@$250 + paint). At the reduced price, touch-up is left to the buyer. Coker, wide whitewalls all around, with slightly larger tires on rear. Cooler fan (electric) on radiator. Fan works in summer but very seldom comes on.. Interior is black roll & pleated bucket seats, black carpet. Brown/black carpet on the business man's rear storage area. The business Bench can be replaced with a seat, if you wish. Original steering wheel (large steering wheel for easier steering- not power steering). No air-condition.Turn signals added (not stock in 51). Rewired to 12 volt system. Electric , 2 speed wipers. Original clock & radio (old AM Radio not working). New AM/FM w/ CD player. Gauges all work (no dummy lights) Speedometer does not work. I use the Tachometer to measure my speed (2500 RPM=55 MPH). Fender skirts in trunk. Also, I have changed the hubcaps to the 55 Ford full moon caps, with Ford Logo in Center. I prefer the 55 caps. Hubcaps shown will be included too. The only reason for selling this car is, to buy a 55 Chevy, which has been done. I have reduced the price from $18, 000.
