Flathead V8 Transmission: 3 Speed Manual VIN: 51SL51504M Description 1951 Mercury Eight Coupe 1951 Mercury Eight Coupe finished in gloss black with pinstriping highlights. Paint, chrome, and brightwork on this car are in great shape and show well. Riding on wide whites with red highlighted rims and Mercury wheel covers. James Dean murals on both front fenders. The lake pipes are plumbed into the exhaust. Dual exhaust coming out of the back. Under the hood is a 225 cci Flathead V8 that is paired with a 3-speed manual on the column and OVERDRIVE! The flathead has a dual carb setup. The cloth interior is all original and is in great shape for its age. Odometer reads 77, 352 miles. Rubber floors, headliner, and cloth door cards all original. Stock radio in the dash as well as some more pinstriping accents on the dash. Great running and driving classic Mercury Eight!
