1951 MG TD Fresh out of paint
This car went through a rebuild before going to paint. The pictures show portions of the tear down and rebuild. The vehicle does have some purchase and service history dating back to 1976.
This is the 3rd MG T-Series I have rebuilt. This was not a complete frame off restoration. The car was taken down to where the body tub still remained on the frame. There were no indications that it needed to be taken apart any further. British Auto of Fort Worth, Texas did a lot of the mechanical work. Not original to the car is a push button starter. The engine is a replacement engine - numbers do not match. The pictures show the car at delivery, thru the rebuild and finished product. The car is painted in gloss black, with burgundy paint for accent stripes, grill, gas tank straps, gas tank side panels and finally clear coated. Paint work was done by Alliance of Fort Worth, Texas. Approximately 100 miles have been put on the car since paint.

Compression check, timing, leak down check
New timing chain
Carbs rebuilt
New SU fuel pump
Boiled gas tank
New gas tank sending unit
New oil pan gasket
New oil filter
New stainless steel exhaust system
Radiator removed/checked and cleaned
New water pump
New fan blade – 4 bladed original fan will be shipped with car
Heater box removed - will be shipped with car
5 New tires (including spare)
Replaced bad brakes lines and wheel cylinders (front and rear)
New brake master cylinder
Front drums turned
Replaced front wheel bearings and new seals.
Replaced parking brake cables
New floor boards
New horn/light switch
New fog light switch
Rewired dash – all switches work
LED bulbs used behind dashboard for integral lighting
Turn signals, turn signal indicator light and under dash switch
Clock rebuilt
New seat tracks
New carpet

5. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
6. Vehicle may be sold prior to the end of the auction. Seller reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.
7. The winning bidder is required to contact seller within 48 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction. A $500 PayPal deposit is required immediately by the winning bidder. The $500 PayPal deposit is non-refundable as not buying the vehicle is very damaging to the seller. Any refunds will be at the sole discretion of seller and are not guaranteed.
8. If winning bidder does not contact seller and submit deposit within 48 hours of auction close, vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come, first serve basis.
9. For balance of payment seller will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), or cashier’s check, (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears).
10. Seller has represented this vehicle to the best of its ability. Prospective bidders are encouraged to contact seller directly to provide additional information or answer any questions.
11. Please be aware that all pre-owned vehicles, regardless of age, mileage, or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Seller encourages bidder to have a personal inspection completed prior to delivery to help ensure your satisfaction. Third party inspections are to take place prior to a vehicles shipment or delivery.
12. Vehicles is sold AS IS and with no warranties expressed or implied.
13. Final or winning bid price does not include shipping, tax, title, or registration fees. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide for any state or local taxes and shipping expenses resulting from the sale.
14. Seller can assist you in delivery through the network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway. Seller assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody.
15. Seller bears no liability and shall be held harmless for any complications, expenses, or damages resulting from a failure to meet these terms as they have been set forth and established herein.
