This little jewel has been my experiment on going totally unique ! What you are looking at is my bare metal bomber! A Starlight Coupe Commander.!! I had it stripped to the bare metal using dustless Mobile blasting which also incorporates a rust inhibitor. After completely blasting everything except the undercarriage and engine bay ( both are reasonably clean and would be easy ti finish off) i drenched the car in a particular penetrant that has kept it rust free for 2 yrs now! The motor runs and ive driven it only a few feet to make sure drivetrain is intact and operable. I have trimand Most everything that came off the car. It comes with a set of kirky racing seats, spacers for the wheels to widen the stance of the front or rear ...i was going to have the wheels in ghe rear widened . i have all the rear glass in perfect conditionand trim. Saddly ...the front windshield got stepped on and Broken. Ive located several in the 300.00 ballpark so keep that in mind. As for rust..pans are remarkably good ..Little to none. The rear fenders along the beading is rusted through in areas along that seam ...it wasn't worrisome to me as it added some cool look to it all. I spent over 4k stripping it in this manner just to see how shed look and its a head turner...ive had it on display and it steals the show! Some of you may argue its a 50 or 51 based on the grill...its neither here nor there...it is what it is and i believe my title shows it a 51...that i will confirm and update accordingly.
