I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. I bought this vehicle with the intention of bringing it to California to add to my collection.
This 1951 Triumph is located in a Copart facility in 13603 238TH ST GREENWOOD, NE 68366. I tried to sell it on Copart, but this vehicle is a classic, clean title vehicle. You can buy this vehicle on Ebay or through Copart by becoming a member.
This vehicle has a clear PENNSYLVANIA Title. If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee.
1951 TRIUMPH RENOWN
The Triumph Renown is strictly the name given to the Triumph's large saloon car made from 1949 to 1954 but it is, in reality, part of a three-car series of the 1800, 2000 and Renown models. Together with the Triumph Roadster, they were the first vehicles to carry the Triumph badge following the company's takeover by the Standard Motor Company.
The car was renamed the Renown in October 1949. It had an entirely new chassis based on the Standard Vanguard with pressed steel sections replacing the tubes previously used. The front suspension changed to coil springing. Although the 3-speed column change transmission was retained, from June 1950 an overdrive unit was offered as an option. Inside there was a new instrument layout.
Of the 6501 produced, fewer than 100 are known to have survived.
Mechanical
This car was purchased from UK in 2005 and was shipped to the U.S. Since then the car has been kept in a garage at all times. The car runs well and usually starts right away. The car was driven short distances while in previous owners’ possession. Tools: complete four piece tool kit in truck compartment. The 3 piece jack and the grease gun all there. Also comes with service instruction manual
Build date: Wednesday February 21, 1951
Engine # TDB 3746E
3 speed manual transmission
Factory OverDrive
The car runs, drives and stops great
Exterior
This car was put into wonderful condition very soon after purchased in 2005. $9455.37 worth of Chrome work to include: grill, rear bumper, rad cap emblem, rad cap, crank hole cover, hubcap emblems, and window trim. A piece of the rubber trim from the running board is not attached, it is in the car should be an easy fix. The paint looks great and all the chrome is still clean and shiny. This car is solid in and out, no rust. All glass is nice.
Interior
The interior is complete and in great shape for its’ age.
