The Nation’s Trusted Consignment Dealer, Many Locations Nationwide 1952 Studebaker Champion Stock: 1009-TPA Engine Size: 170CI Transmission Type: 3 Speed Manual Exterior Color Gray Interior Color Red Miles: 74, 576 (Unknown) Location: Tampa, FL Vehicle Options AM Radio Defrost Heat Seatbelts-Front Vinyl Interior Description This 1952 Studebaker Champion is the perfect attention-grabbing classic. It combines rarity with a solid investment in a quality restoration, and so we are amazed it's offered for such an affordable price.
We love the look of these Starliner hardtops. And more than just beautiful, it's quite rare. Studebaker only produced around 20, 000 hardtops across the entire Champion line in 1952 a year when Ford sold nearly three times more of the more expensive Victoria hardtops. And we doubt you're going to find a finer surviving example. There has been a ton invested in this coupe to make it a correct and coordinating total package. The paint has plenty of gloss and shine, and we love how the two-tone is so well matched that they even remembered to paint the wheels red. The new for '52 grille is a chrome king that leads the way like a shining beacon. And the trim details are just as amazing with the wind-swept hood ornament, bright fender caps, and all that shine surrounding the hardtop roof. Even the correct wheel covers are still in place!
We love how the red roof is a preview of the interior color. And once you look inside, you'll discover more signs of an investment during restoration. It's a time capsule finished in red and chrome, and so you'll love the bounce of the bench seat and the crackle of the AM radio. Even the heater is still working so you won't have to freeze on those mornings when you want to be the first one at the car show. You get the stylized steering wheel with the thin and grippy grooves that instantly remind you of the 1950s. Beyond that is the full gauge package that has the perfect art deco style. This is truly vintage motoring at its best.
When you look under the hood, you can tell there was plenty left in the budget to make the engine bay look fantastic. So just like the interior and exterior, this has a time capsule-like appearance. You'll get plenty of people marveling at the bright white fender walls, glossy black factory air topper, and the long blue block of the 170 cubic-inch straight-six. And more than just look good, you can tell by the quality of the belts, wires, and hoses that this classic was still meant to drive. And when you look at the undercarriage photos, you not only see an exceptionally clean car, but also you might notice that it has been set up with a true dual exhaust. Plus, with glasspack-style mufflers, this motor has more growl than its contemporaries, so you'll love letting it run into higher RPMs with the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission.
Rarity, distinction, and all-around retro-cool coupes like this are usually not this affordable. So don't let someone else take home this Champion. Call today!!!
