For sale is my 1953 Mercury Monterey. Original flatheadV8. Dual exhaust with mellowtone pipes sound nice and throaty. Holley 95 carb just rebuilt this week. Installed Petronix electronic ignition and Flamethrower coil. New 180* thermostats. Runs, drives, stops great. Transmission was rebuilt by Abercrombie Transmissions in Georgia shifts tight and fast. NOS interior is clean and in great shape. Always a Georgia car. Lots of extra parts, manuals, vintage Mercury ephemera, original paperwork. It is registered, tagged, insured in Georgia and driven regularly. Still 6v. Lowered 2 in rear. Still have original springs and the stock Holley carb/ oil bath air cleaner that come with the car. Also have stock steering wheel, extra hubcaps and 2 new water pumps. Tires only have a few thousand miles on them.
Some surface rust on bumpers, rest of car is clean and solid. Paint has some scratches here and there. Factory 2tone colors repainted 12-15 years ago by previous owner.
