Hello, Thank you for viewing my car. If you are looking for a nice Continental then chances are you know more than I about the history of the Continental Mark II.I've owned the car for 5 years. I ordered a new back up light lens from Mark II Enterprise shortly after I bought the car from a collector inScottsdale, AZApparently the car had a celebrity owner which previously owned the car long term. I'll be happy to disclose who the previous owner was, however it had no bearing on why I purchased the car. Frankly, if you could pay ten thousand dollars for a car in 1956 then you probably were an important person anyway.The car has been garage kept and driven up til now. I believe all power option are working well. Clock doesn't and radio lights up but no sound.Mechanical I had the motor pulled in order to rebuild the transmission about 2 thousand miles ago. The engine runs great. No smoke or leaks. Also, while the transmission was out of the car I had a switch installed so you now can start the car in park and not have to move the swIft lever to neutral in order to start the motor.Currently I can not think of a lot that needs done. The carpet is original and probably this is the next thing I would do if I kept the car.I've simply have run out of garage space and this Mark II gets the short straw.I believe the next owner will enjoy the notoriety of owning this vehicle. Always get thumbs up and waves when out cruising.The leather seats show their age, however they are original and that only hapoens once. They are firm and not broke down. The leather is still supple. I believe they could be dyed and should be fine.This is a rust free Southern California car it's whole life. please feel free to contact me for any additional information.Greg
