Thank you for taking a look at our 1956 Oldsmobile Super 88!  This car certainly has a fantastic patina.  After a thorough mechanical service, the car is running well but we suspect the transmission may need some attention in the future as it does not shift as smoothly as it should.  The Rocket V8 runs well and is a very capable drivetrain.  The wires, cap, points and condenser have all been recently replaced along with the addition of an electric fuel pump.  The rear suspension has also been replaced.  All of the bright work looks to be present and in decent condition.  We love how the exterior looks, but the interior certainly could use some updating.  Unfortunately, there is rust damage.  We can say for certain the inner fenders and the floors need replaced.  Drive it while you restore it or enjoy it for what it is!  The choice can be yours.  With a more rare 50's car you can certainly have a unique addition to your collection with this Super 88.
