Designed by Dick Teague, this 1956 Packard Caribbean convertible is one of only 276 produced in Packard's final year before its takeover by Studebaker. One of the most lavish Packards ever, this Caribbean convertible is powered by Packard's 374/310 HP dual quad V-8 and Twin Ultramatic transmission. Contrary to popular... belief, pushbutton controls were optional on the Caribbean; this is one of very few with a conventional column-mounted shifter. The Caribbean's unique three-color paint scheme of Dover White, Danube Blue and Roman Copper is matched by a white power top and near flawless interior that still includes the reversible front seats.
