This 1957 Volkswagen Beetle is as solid of body as you will find anywhere east of the Arizona desert ( IMO) Solid floors , solid fenders ( not full of bondo like a lot of cars )...
It is painted Two Tone Blue Exterior with Two Blue interior , chrome bumpers are nice !
It has the 4 cyl which I believe to be a 1600 cc which is not the original engine , it powers this car well though and has a 4 speed that works well also , making this car a blast to drive
The interior is in good condition and comfortable to ride in . ..but is not original
The radial tires were new last year and are in good condition and the cars drives goodIt has 12 year old reproduction chrome wheels that are rusty as they have a reputation for the chrome not holding up...
The custom seat upholstery is in good condition and the carpet is non original but decent , also has a good headliner and the rag top is good and operates as it should
Several chrome accessories have been tastefully added
This is a very good solid Classic Beetle that you could enjoy owning and at this price point you are not buried in it as the value will only increase if you make any improvements
If you are an international buyer that is very concerned about a solid body then this is the car for you
I am requiring a $500 deposit when auction is ended . Please have finances already worked out when Buy It Now is used...Call me if you do not have a Paypal account and we can work around it but the sale is made thru Ebay regardless
This Volkswagen is sold as is where is without any warranty due to it's age...It obviously has flaws and is not a restored carI am stating that the body is solid and will stand behind what I say...The final balance of payment should be made within 7 days after purchase is made. I have a clear title that is branded as a prior salvage by Missouri DMV and prior Illinois title had Rebuilt as it's brand. .I believe it was stolen and later recovered after Insurance company had already settled claim with owner . It is a clear Missouri title without any liens Bank wire transfer or cash is the only way I will accept payment I will allow any inspector to come see this vehicle prior to bidding or buying ...I have access to a lift so you can view all over vehicle to your heart's content . . No funny business here , just trying to place a fun driving rare classic beetle to a new home
