Purchased new in Canada and driven to California by my father-in-law in 1958. The family has a farm in Fresno and the VW has been stored in their garage for the past 34+ years. I guarantee you will not find many one owner original unrestored 1957 VW 's in this condition -very very rare! I had the wheels cleaned and new tires/battery installed before towing the car from Fresno to Menifee, CA. Car is available for inspection in Menifee. I planned to restore it, but too many other projects have made me consider selling it. Sorry, no trades. I will try to answer all questions. However, I know very little about VW's. I would strongly encourage anyone interested to come view the car. The car was originally silver and was painted tan (1970's) - I am told that was the only change made (still 6 volts). Needs to be totally restored. Sorry no keys. A couple of boxes of parts (see pictures) are included.
