I bought this car sight unseen being told All it needed was paint. Not so much. Both rear quarters need redone. The body is half stripped with at least 3 repaint layers showing. The bumpers look straight driver quality. Most pot metal is pitted.
and have been removed along with the head light and tail light assemblies, Which I have.The Pontiac letters from hood and deck are gone. The hood is louvered. Side trim is all there. Truck floor needs replaced. Frame and floors look solid. Suspension and steering are original. Brakes are good and tires are near new white stripe.
Engine is stock with Edelbrock carb and runs good. Transmission shifts as it should. Windshield is cracked. Interior was redone in vinyl and velour, headliner is good carpet is good but all need good cleaning.Right front door panel off to repair window channel I assume. Clear title in my name for this 58' Star Chief 2 door hardtop project.
