1959 Austin Healey 3000 Mk I restoration project.
LOW RESERVE.
Matching numbers - see Heritage Certificate.
Has matching numbers motor plus 4 speed side-shift transmission with overdrive - both have been removed from the car.
Motor includes rocker cover, carbs, inlet and exhaust manifolds, coil, distributor, tach drive, clutch cover and disk, radiator, starter & generator, motor mounts.
Also included are exhaust down pipes and a NOS muffler.

This is a very early (body # 299) 3000 Mk 1 Big Healey, and a great restoration candidate.
It has a heater, adjustable steering wheel, and overdrive.
Car is a barn find from Indiana. Currently in Connecticut.
Car was dismantled and work started in the '90's. Motor supposedly has new rings and bearings. It has been painted and it does turn by hand. Rear end has been painted.
Car is essentially complete, and comes with four good fenders (in addition to the ones on the car), nine (9) 60 spoke wheels - the 4 on the car to roll it, and 5 with tires removed ready to be trued and repainted.
Items I know to be missing: Water pump, rear shocks, rear license plate bracket and lamp, badges, stainless fender trim, various nuts and bolts. If you don't see something please ask as I may have it, and just not photographed it.
Main chassis is solid and straight. There is rust in the trunk floor, rocker panels and two of the four outriggers.
There are some NEW parts: passenger seat sliders, a pair of door latches, muffler.
