1959 Fiat Cabriolet Vetture Special. Spring is coming and what a fun way to cruise the back roads.This car is one of several we have owned over the past 20 years. The Fiat cabriolet's are just fun dependable little cars to enjoy.This car is the Vetture Special and features 2 tone interior Red/Black, over sized drum brakes, 4 speed transmission, and special deluxe trim features.Car has a brand new top. Brand new battery as well. This car is in very nice condition but like most older cars it needs a little attention to a few areas.Body is solid, the rockers need patching or replacing. I have a brand new set of rocker panels that come with the car. Any good metal body man can do this job and it is not terribly expensive. The radio stopped working after 50+ years lol. Simple AM radio/Motorola.The transmission was replaced by me, the original comes with the car and needs to be rebuilt. I happen to have a perfect 4 speed for this car on hand so I swapped it out and now it is perfect. The engine runs nice, has power and does not smoke at all.Chrome is in super nice condition. The paint on the car looks great but needs a little touching up which should be done at the same time along with the rockers. The windshield has 2 chips in it. These can be repaired easily but I also have a clean windshield that comes with the car if desired included with the purchase.Interior is in nice shape for a driver, for a show car some upholstery work could be done to freshen it up. please ask questions about this car, she is beautiful to look at and also to drive. people often mistake it for the other 'F' italian car lol.
