Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a dealer will post all but the most flattering of professionally finished photographs. We prefer to post the many photos taken of the car, in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.

The
Oldsmobile 88
(a.k.a. the
Eighty-Eight
) was a full size car sold by the Oldsmobile division of GM and produced from 1949 until 1999. From 1950 to 1974 the 88 was the division's top-selling line, particularly the entry-level models such as the 88 and Dynamic 88. The 88 series was also an image leader for Oldsmobile, particularly in the early years (1949–51) when it was one of the best performing automobiles thanks to its relatively small size, light weight and advanced overhead-valve high-compression V8 engine. With the large, high performance V8, the Oldsmobile 88 is considered the predecessor to the muscle cars of the 1960s.
This particular example is a beautiful mostly all original car that has only been restored as necessary, for example it was professionally finished in its original factory (Color Code C) 'Provincial White' color paint in 2010 with a very striking Tri-Color Blue over White color seats interior reupholstered in 2014 and with a new Black power convertible soft top in 2010. The car looks extremely impressive and boasts its original trunk carpet and working clock and radio! All the factory options are working as they should and the car has all it's original logos and as previously stated its original working radio and working clock, which was rebuilt in 2014, showing the previous owners meticulous attention to detail! The brightwork design on the dashboard, the dashboard itself, the convertible soft top, the carpets and all the seats are all in excellent condition! All the chrome work is excellent and the original spare wheel and jack is in the trunk with its original trunk inlay and the car has absolutely no signs of ever having any rust or accidents.
This particular car also drives absolutely magnificently - must be driven to be fully appreciated - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will really give any modern day sports car a run for it's money! The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears and the temperature always remains cool! Drives almost exactly as it must have when brand new!
This is a rare opportunity to own a simply stunning mostly all original example of a local show winning 1960 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 Convertible - one very desirable, collectible and unabused example of one of the outstanding early 1960's all American cars and a truly beautiful GM classic car design.
